A Global Recognition

The Art and Olfaction Awards, created in 2014, celebrate creativity and innovation in independent and artisan perfumery on an international scale. Each year, only a select group of fragrances is chosen as finalists, making this recognition highly competitive and meaningful.

In 2020, Behique was selected among the finalists in the Independent Category, alongside renowned niche creations from around the world.

The Essence of Behique

Behique was created in collaboration with perfumer Christian Carbonnel and is inspired by the Taino shamans of the Caribbean — spiritual figures known for their wisdom, connection to nature, and mystical presence.

The fragrance embodies this spirit: powerful, deep, and evocative. A scent that tells a story of ritual, knowledge, and ancestral energy.

A Milestone for the Brand

Being a finalist represented a defining moment for us — not only as recognition of Behique, but as validation of our artistic vision.

As a Czech brand with Cuban roots, presenting our work on such an international stage was both an honor and a responsibility. It reaffirmed our belief in creating fragrances that go beyond scent — fragrances that tell stories and awaken emotions.
